Luigi Morelli is an IT professional from Italy. Luigi (ET_ on MersenneForum) is the founder of Team Italia on PrimeNet. An active member of the GIMPS community since 1997, he is the co-maintainer of Operation Billion Digits and one of the two main overseers. Supporting factorization of large (or small) Mersenne numbers, he wrote the Factor5 program. As of February 2011, he wrote some factoring code in PHP and has a website that is testing a list of exponents.
On September 2012, Luigi created a new website dealing with Double Mersenne numbers.
